Apple caramel mocktail
Ingredients for 4 persons:
- apple juice - 500 ml
- cinnamon powder (or 6 cinnamon sticks)
- ice cubes
- caramel - 6 teaspoons
Divide the caramel over the Dopi glasses and add a pinch of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and add apple juice
The best and healthiest thirst-quencher is of course plain water, but sometimes you just want a little variety. Instead of reaching for soft drinks or mocktails, you can choose flavoured water. This is not only delicious and particularly refreshing, it is also super easy to make yourself. How do you make it? Well, preferably use a carafe with a wide neck in which you can easily put all the ingredients. Cut the fruit (or possibly the vegetables) you want to use into slices, so that there is a large surface area that can impart flavour, and put them in the carafe, to which you add fizzy or still drinking water. Leave to infuse for a few hours in the fridge and add ice if necessary when serving.
Our favourite? Mint, ginger and lemon flavoured water, but of course you can make your own personal version with your favourite fruit and/or vegetable.
